Is your heart at complete peace? Or are your emotions up and down, better characterized by anxiety, worry, or, the more commonly used term nowadays: stress? If you answered 'yes'  to the latter part of the question, then don't feel alone, that is the reality for many of today's Christians

 "Does fear, anxiety, worry, panic, etc. characterize God?" Of course not. If it does not characterize God, how can it characterize someone in whom He dwells?

With everything that is going on in the world, we as believers need to follow peace, and be the example that Jesus was when He walked on the earth. Jesus had many things come against him, but He just took authority over the circumstances. Jesus walked in peace. He did nothing, but what He saw the Father do.  Whenever we are obedient to the Word, peace rules. You too can have Peace in the midst of your storm.  .

Galatians 5:22 states, "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering (patience in hard circumstances), gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (self-control): against such there is no law."

 The peace that I am speaking about is not a world peace; it is the peace of God.  The world will never have peace. From this time on until we go home to be with the Lord, the world will be in turmoil. If we search the scriptures we will see that the end of time is near.

I pray that each person that reads this will focus on the Kingdom of God way. We must let peace be the umpire of our heart. If you are trying to make a decision about something in your life, you must follow the peace. If you do not have peace about something you must not do it.  My husband and I have learned that if we do not have peace about something we will not do it. If you and your spouse are trying to make a decision on something in your life and one of you do not have peace, pray. You should be on one accord.

Many Christians are running around feeling defeated, but we do not have to be defeated, we can walk in the victorious life that Jesus died for. We must do what Jesus did.

 John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

Isaiah 26:3, states, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee

This scripture says so much. If we keep focused on Jesus and obey His commandments we will walk in peace. The Holy Spirit is our teacher and He guides us in all truth. He will let you know if a storm is coming and will show you what to do in the midst of the storm, if you hear and obey. That is where you walk in the peace in the midst of the storm.

 Please meditate on the scriptures below until you get them in your heart. Say them out loud, because faith cometh by hearing.

 Mark 9: 50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Mark 4:37-41 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.  And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?  And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.  And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, what manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

 John 14: 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

 John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace

Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful (timely, flourishing) are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Romans 14:17-19 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. . Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

1 Cor: 1:3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Cor 14: 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Gal 5: 22 &23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Gal: 6: 14-16 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature (creation).  And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Eph 2; 12-14 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Eph 4:1-3 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Eph: 6:15 And your feet shod (tied, bind, knit) with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph: 6: 23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Phil 4: 6 -9 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are   just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Col. 3:15 -16 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
